Berlin Sessions @ Inselgarten

Berlin Sessions and Insel — Berlin Treptow invite you to this year’s first edition of our Insel Sessions!
Every last wednesday of the month, we’ll showcase three acoustic artists in a beautiful outdoor setting. Located close to Treptower Park, we invite you to dip your feet in the water, get rid of the city’s troubles, enjoy the company of good friends, fine beers and discover some fantastic artists.

Burkini Beach
‘Supersadness Intl.’ — that’s the name of Burkini Beach’s debut album, which was released last year. His songs are full of emotions and gorgeous, subtle arrangements, which sometimes cast an eye at the melancholic side of life and remind you of the likes of Sufjan Stevens or Bright Eyes’ Conor Oberst.

The World At Our Fingertips’ (Live):

Jarle Skavhellen
The music of norwegian Singer-Songwriter Jarle Skavhellen is rooted in the past, but looks straight forward in the future. His haunting voice in combination with american-style guitar play creates a brooding version of nordic folk music, which is as beautiful and honest as music can be.

The Ghost In Your Smile’:

Freyr Flodgren is a swedish/icelandic Singer-Songwriter who lives in Umeå, Sweden. After playing in several bands, Freyr is currently working on his solo project. His songs are personal and intimate stories, influenced by the vast forest of northern Sweden, and Iceland’s rugged beauty.

Over My Head’ (Live):
‘Hear Me Now’ (Live):
